1) General
Our Power Saver for motor Goldway adjusts input power supplying to motor with load factor of motor, reduces the appended waste, make rotation of motor with the most suitable load factor. These extend motor life and increase actual operation efficiency and in result the purpose of power saving is achieved.
At present, the most of motors is lower operation efficiency, because a motor is designed with 30% higher against requested capacity on ground of the power fluctuation. Over load of equipment, frictional loss of machine and so on when a motor is chosen for systems. In fact, it is rarely the case of operation with full load, and there is a lot of operational cases with low load factor and low operation efficiency. Especially low load fluctuation machines such as Oil Pumping, Crusher, Extruder, Plastic Injection Molding Machine, Air blower, Cropper, Compressor, Electric Saw, Elevator, Lift, Milling Machine, Drilling Machine and so on which is low load factor, are generally low operation efficiency and waste power so much.
Goldway detects the small change of load factor and diminishes power supply by decreasing voltage automatically on idling of motor and on reducing load. On high load, Goldway increases power supply automatically for safety operation of motor and saves power at the maximum.
2) Performance and Features
Soft start function on start up
Goldway controls starting current at 1-1.5 times of rated value and improves the safety of systems and at the same time it will be able to extend the life of systems by controlling continuously current to fit the different operational terms for starting up of motor, by reducing damages of motor, systems and power net with impulse current (this automatic detection range is 120-380V. Power factor value of motor at unloaded time is 0.92 or greater. Saving rate at idling time is 70% or greater, total efficiency saving rate is 20% or greater).
Effective energy saving
Goldway provides automatic detection control systems and controls continuosly input voltage based on the change of load and keeps rotation of motor with high effective condition. (this automatic detection range is 80-200V. Power factor value of motor at unloaded time is 0.92 or greater. Saving rate at idling time is 70% or greater. Total efficiency saving rate is 20% or greater).
Protection Functions
Goldway protects motor automatically from deficiency phase, over load, overheating, brownout. Protections for deficiency phase takes extended one for continuous controllable overload to prevent from taking wrong protection for running of motor with deficiency phase at starting up and for overload. Protection for overheating is for related machines such as roll bearing and motor. Other protection is taken with lock function.

D. With shock load protection, Goldway adjusts power voltage at 200V at once when motor receive shock load and returns power saving condition automatically when shock load is finished.

Applications
Goldway is suitable for power saving of any machine. Equipment , device which is operated with motor such as pump, crusher, plastics injection molding machine, extruder, air blower, cropper, compressor, electric saw, elevator, lift, conveyer, milling machine, drilling machine and so on.
3) About power saving
???????? Goldway power saver operates for power saving of motor at no load, low load and changing load factor. This principle is that the lower load factor is the larger room to save power is and the higher saving rate is. This means that motor operates with full load or around full load, there is a little room to save power and saving rate is low. Therefore, it is very important point to choose suitable power saver to application

- As the saving rate is not good, it is required to repeat testing and take countermeasure.
